Cheers to 6 years ❤️

Snapshots of cabin life. Not everything is glamorous about living in a little cabin in the woods - the winters can be long, the black flies can be hellish, and sometimes I miss being able to walk from my house to a coffee shop. But it's days like these when everything is blooming, the sun is shining, and I have the quiet and space to create that the tradeoffs all feel worth it. In a noisy, dizzying world, I feel so grateful for simplicity.

An hour well spent. Last night it seemed like the Lake was calling to me. I got done with my errands and felt this irresistible pull toward the shore. The evening was perfect: warm, no bugs, and with the summery smell of campfires wafting from the campground. It was one of those evenings that was truly magical, and I left feeling so much lighter, and inspired with new ideas. As much as I love the dramatic beauty of fall and winter, summer has a sweet energy all its own. And lately I can't get enough of it.
