The forest always wants to grow back

At the edge of the world

I've been thinking a lot about energy lately. Each person, each place, each gathering and situation emits its own tangible energy, some for the better and some for the worse. As an empath, I'm hyper aware of these subtle changes in energy, which can be both a superpower and a hindrance. I've spent a lot of time alone in the woods over the last week, and have been thinking a lot about things in my life that I can change--both internally and externally--that will help decrease the anxious energy in my life and promote the peaceful and creative energy I so thrive on.

It's a rushing river, crashing waves type of a day on the North Shore today. Judging by the empty parking lots, Leif and I were the only ones crazy enough to venture out in this wild weather. But so glad we did!
