Scenes from today's moody morning at my parents' house. One of the things that I love about visiting home is walking through the fields in winter. Since moving to northern Minnesota and being totally surrounded by dense forest, I've come to appreciate waking up here and being able to see so far across the fields. It's a different kind of beautiful, and one that I definitely took for granted and didn't appreciate growing up. But today I'm thankful to be soaking in this different kind of winter wonderland.

I've been drinking in these beautiful, early sunsets we've been having recently.
